Personal information is stored securely in our student management and business systems.
We use secure cloud platforms including Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft Azure with data stored in Australia.
We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.
Access is restricted to authorised personnel.

We may disclose personal information where required or authorised by law, including to:
- NCVER
- DEWR
- ASQA and other regulators
- State and territory authorities

We do not sell or trade personal information.
Overseas Disclosure
We do not routinely disclose personal information overseas.

8. Mandatory NCVER Privacy Notice
Under the Data Provision Requirements 2020, we are required to collect and disclose personal information to NCVER.
Your information may be used for:
- Issuing VET qualifications and transcripts
- Statistical analysis and research
- Surveys and data linkage
- Policy development and workforce planning
- Administration and regulation of the VET sector
NCVER may disclose information to ASQA, DEWR, state and territory authorities, and authorised researchers.
You may receive a survey and may opt out when contacted.
9. Surveys
Participants may be invited to participate in surveys conducted by NCVER or government bodies. Participation is voluntary unless otherwise specified.
10. Unique Student Identifier (USI)
We collect, use and disclose Unique Student Identifiers (USIs) in accordance with the Student Identifiers Act 2014 (Cth).
We only use or disclose a USI as permitted by law.
USI Verification
We will verify each Unique Student Identifier (USI) with the relevant government registry to ensure it is valid and matches the individual’s identity details.
Where necessary, we may:
- Access the USI Registry System or Organisation Portal to validate USIs
- Request additional information to confirm identity details
- Contact individuals if discrepancies are identified
We will not issue any qualification or Statement of Attainment unless a valid USI has been obtained and verified, except where an exemption applies.
All USI information is handled securely and in accordance with the Student Identifiers Act 2014 and the Privacy Act 1988.
11. Access and Correction
Individuals may request access to or correction of their personal information at any time.
Requests will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Act.
12. Retention and Disposal
We retain personal information in line with RTO regulatory requirements.
When no longer required, information is securely destroyed or de-identified.
