HLTAID011 replaced HLTAID003 as the unit of competency for Provide First Aid in 2021

Stitches First Aids Provide First Aid Course is developed to train participants with the knowledge and skills to respond to a wide range of life threatening emergencies including:

• Providing CPR
• Asthma
• Anaphylaxis
• Bleeding
• Shock
• Choking
• Envenomation (Snake Bite)
• Drowning
• Diabetes
• Burns
• Eye Injuries
• Fractures & Soft tissue injuries
• Head, Neck & Spinal Injuries
• Seizures
• Stroke
• Hypo/Hyperthermia

This course applies to all people who need this qualification for their employment or would like to have the skills to provide first aid in their, workplace, home or community. HLTAID011 is the course required for first aid officers in most workplaces.

Course Duration – 6 Hours (delivery over multiple sessions available)
